Thank you for letting me walk through this journey of self discovery with you.
I hope it has helped you to reconnect with your light, and given you some insights into who you are and what's truly important to you. My wish was for you to feel more empowered and aware of what you could do to get closer to your goals and how you could enjoy the journey as much as the destination. I hope we've achieved that.
And now, as I mentioned in our sessions, here is a little bit about me and the dream I'm working on this year. I hope you'll be encouraged to join me in making it happen.
This year I gave myself permission to dream
Here is what I want to achieve and why.
My dream is to set up a small business in Colombia, which would be managed by my dad (a happy, go lucky and very hard working and responsible kind of guy - who was unfortunately made redundant two years before he could get his pension - working as Head of Human Resources at a state owned government agency).
My dad (Henry) is full of spark and is a true entrepreneur (having worked for many years selling leather jackets to small boutiques in our home town before finally getting the office job he was last at (for over 15years). Dad can't get an office job anymore because of his age but he is full of business know-how, contacts and great selling techniques - which is just what we need to make our business thrive.
In order to open our little business in Colombia we need to raise an initial SG$3,000. This will give us enough capital to buy merchandise (kids' toys and clothes) from manufacturers in Colombia and sell them (wholesale) to smaller boutiques in Armenia-Quindio (where my dad lives). We'd also be looking to buy beach-wear to sell in the coast, in a small stall owned by my uncle in Santa Marta - a touristy town up in the coast.
LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN.
As I mentioned when we first started our Take time to BE YOU sessions I don't want to charge for this work. What would be more meaningful and what I would really appreciate (if you feel the work we've done has helped you and touched you in some way) is a contribution to this project that is so dear to my heart.
You are welcome to contribute either in person (next time we meet) or you can do so on-line, using the PayPal option below. (I was restricted by PayPal formatting and was unable to create an option where you could choose your own amount - so I've entered some suggestions for you. If the amount you would like to contribute is not here please let me know and I can send you a PayPal invoice which allows for a more customised experience).
Also remember that you don't have to be a PayPal user to use their platform - just click on the guest option and you'll be able to contribute without needing a PayPal account.
